ABOUT ME + MY CREATIVE WORK
I'm Shay Grabowski, brand strategist, creative director, interactive art director, and visual designer. I have been creating professionally for the past decade, working with clients such as Nickelodeon, MTV, the Travel Channel, National Geographic Channel, and many others. Much of my time is spent in the digital realm, and I also love working with traditional materials - india ink, watercolor, collage. I'm inspired by Latin America, cities, color and typography.
In 2010, I founded ALEGRIA: Hope through Art, a 501c3 nonprofit organization empowering underserved youth to achieve their potential and transform their lives through arts and music education. In the past 5 years, ALEGRIA has served thousands of youth in Peru and New York City. Learn more about all that here.
My expertise is in art / creative direction, brand development / strategy, interactive, motion graphics, graphic design. I illustrate for fun (mostly, sometimes for clients), and I've worked on a few full-scale installations (hey, TeenNick!). I'm currently available for commissions and a variety of creative projects. I also regularly expand my team to work collaboratively, and I look forward to dialoguing with you about your project.
